Manchester & London Marathon Roundups
Border Harriers athletes were out in force this April, taking on two of the biggest road races in the UK calendar: the Manchester Marathon and the iconic TCS London Marathon. Both events delivered superb performances across the club, with standout runs across multiple age groups and some exceptional pacing on two of the sport’s biggest stages.
Manchester Marathon
Cool conditions and a fast course helped produce a string of strong results from the Border Harriers contingent. The standout performance came from Jules Hatcher, who delivered a superb 2:37:35 to finish inside the top 100 overall, an exceptional run in the M50 category, which currently ranks him 4th M50 in the UK.
There were further excellent performances across the field, including a brilliant 3:08:08 from Teresa Medley in the F55 category, placing her among the strongest age‑group performers in the entire event.
